The views from my room on the 11th floor were absolutely breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of the cityscape that left me in awe. The curated art scattered throughout the property added an extra touch of sophistication and gave each floor its own distinct personality. Plus, the southern comfort breakfast at Crimson was an absolute delight, and the morning pastries from Blanchard's Coffee Roasting Company were the perfect way to start my day.

There were some unsavory elements in the area, as the CVS next to the hotel had undergone property damage prior to my stay.

the room was very clean and the location is very close to the metro. we walked to the Capitol and White House easily. the staff were super friendly and the hotel had a nice rooftop bar.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Washington, DC called Motto. The room was clean and my 12-year-old son loved the bunk beds. The location was fantastic, with everything we needed close by and the metro right there for easy transportation. The diner downstairs was great, and the coffee shop and whiskey bar were nice bonuses. The staff was super nice and made us feel welcome. The room was small, but it worked for my son and me. It would have been even better if there were a few more hooks in the room to hang towels and dry them, especially since the hotel is committed to being eco-friendly. Although the charging station in our room didn't work, it wasn't a big deal since we had our own chargers. The only downside was that being on the 10th/11th floor meant it was a bit loud on Friday night due to the rooftop bar. However, despite that, my son has already requested to come back to Motto. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was perfect for hitting up the trendy local fitness studio for yoga and spin classes, and we felt super energized afterwards. Plus, the nearby nightlife scene was so lit – we partied 'til the early morning hours!

We wished the hotel had more of a happening vibe for young party-goers. A rooftop pool or a live DJ at the bar would have taken our stay to the next level!

Little brand-new hotel, staff and rooms could not be better.

The rooms were so cozy and modern with a huge TV for streaming our favorite shows. The private bathroom was a nice touch with personalized bath products. The workspace was small but perfect for a quick email check. It was just what our family needed for a relaxing stay.

Additionally, it's conveniently situated next to the Capital One Arena and is just a short distance from downtown. The room and bathroom were both clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the check-in process was smooth. The hotel also had a coffee shop in the lobby with delicious coffee, perfect for starting the day off right.

The pillows were a bit too soft and lacked support.

Everything was great, unbeatable location next to the Chinatown metro stop, the staff were incredible. The food was reasonably priced with variety of alternatives. The property was a short way from 7th st nw & h st Nw bus stop.

The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying a fairly nice area, short walk to a major metro stop and Walgreens almost next door and the National Mall.

The Gallery Place entrance to the metro is directly across the street from the hotel, offering easy access to transportation.

There were some safety concerns in the surrounding area during my stay, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

The "double" bed is really small... you don't have to be big :D and we had some paperwork problems after the hotel was bought by Hilton (they gave us two rooms instead of one, I received 2 invoices by email, one of which was not in my name... everything is back in order but be careful on this point).

The southern comfort breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was a delightful surprise. The biscuits were so delicious that I felt like I was being embraced by a warm hug from a Southern grandmother. It was the perfect way to start my day in Washington.

Very small room, you couldn't open a suitcase on the floor! Outside the window, the central ventilation system from the neighbouring building was very noisy. No parking, no breakfast.

The hotel's diner served delicious biscuits for breakfast. The Thievery Corporation partnership added a quirky touch. The guest rooms were well-equipped with a TV and a safe. The rooftop bar offered great views of the Washington Monument. I enjoyed the nearby fitness outlet and the fried chicken sandwich at the Southern-focused restaurant. The lobby's funky design was a pleasant surprise. The close proximity to the restaurant scene was convenient. a comfortable stay with a few notable highlights. And yes, as an Aussie, I appreciated the laid-back vibes.

Our family had a fantastic time visiting the nearby fitness studio, Blissful Yoga & Spin. It offered a great variety of classes suitable for all levels, which gave us a chance to stay active and relaxed during our stay.

In my wife's opinion, a dedicated play area for kids would enhance the family experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city with so much to see and do. I loved being able to explore the vibrant Chinatown area just steps away from the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Lionel at the front desk. They made me feel so welcome and even gave me two drink vouchers as a welcome gift. The room was spacious and comfortable, with the most heavenly beds and pillows. It was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The hotel also had a great restaurant and a cool whiskey bar in the basement that I highly recommend checking out. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel with its simple concept: the rooms are smaller than average and have the most essential facilities, all for a low price. The location is also ideal: right next to the great monuments of washington and right in the middle of chinatown, perfect for eating something other than hamburger!

We didn't like the air conditioning. It's noisy and very close to the bed. As a result we caught a cold. Also, because of the small size of the room, the toilet is very close to the bed and there is no sound insulation. Not very glamorous.

location in front of the metro gallery place, valgreens just next door; Chinese and world restaurants also next door. setting, hotel, room. cleanliness of the room. friendly staff. Calm. 15-20 minutes walk in a straight line from the White House and other beautiful monuments of the capital. A very good pied-à-terre. train station is 2-3 stations away from the Gallery Place subway station. So only 7 minutes by subway. You can also do it on foot.

The air conditioning is too loud. It is absolutely necessary to change it quickly because it is impossible to sleep with such a noise.

As a frequent traveler, I stayed at Motto by Hilton Washington DC City Center for transit during my journey, and I was impressed by the convenience of the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station. It offered easy, direct access to Union Station, just 2 stops away, and Reagan National Airport, 6 stops away. the central location near attractions like the National Museum of African American History and Culture added to the hotel's appeal.

The only minor inconvenience I encountered during my stay was the lack of a microwave and fridge in the guest rooms. It wasn't a significant issue for my short stay, but it's worth noting for guests who may need these amenities.

Upon my arrival at the Motto by Hilton Washington DC City Center, the light-flooded lobby immediately caught my attention with its stylish and vibrant design. The hotel is located in Chinatown - please note that the area may be dirty and may have specific smells. We also met homeless people sleeping in the area, although it was completely safe because the streets around are busy and often patrolled by the police.

The hotel is superbly located, opposite the Gallery Pl-Chinatown Station Metro Station, super connected to Union Station. Lots of homeless people around the Jedank station. On the ground floor of the hotel, a restaurant, very favourably priced, tasty, inexpensive for Washington, large portions. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Nice and helpful staff at the reception.

Good location: by the metro station, 10 min walk from the center (National Mall), 20 min. from the train and bus station. The new hotel is modern, although modestly equipped. Good air conditioning. Clean. There is a safe in the room. Large shop and restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood.

No coffee or tea making equipment. No towel hangers and clothes in the bathroom. There was only one hook. On the fourth floor we had a view of the wall of the neighboring building next door and ventilation outlets.

The bathroom door. It's impossible to have privacy in the bathroom. It was a sliding door that didn't properly isolate the bathroom from the room. The room is called a capsule because it's literally tiny, there's no room to put two suitcases, it's uncomfortable. The noise of the street, there were people shouting at 3 am and everything could be heard, the windows are not airtight. The rooms do not have a refrigerator. In the hotel there are machines to fill bottles with water, but there is no ice machine.
